Living in the future, collecting the past

Michele J Garcia works with digital and analog media. She creates a dynamic connection between audience and work by visualizing emotions and reinterpretation of symbols. Her work is presented with the intention not to provide a realistic view but to highlight dreams and imaginings of what was or could be.

In addition to lab produced prints on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Digital Pearl Paper, current in-studio production includes prints on electronic paper screens, dye sublimated prints on Kodak photo paper and gilding media with precious metals.

Garcia’s work has been exhibited in Texas, California and Brazil. She has won awards for her portraiture, digital and fiber work.

Michele J Garcia lives and thrives within a small circle of agency, love and compassion. She frequently visits the Wichita Falls, Texas and Medicine Park, Oklahoma areas and interacts with the world. Every summer she spends several weeks in Colorado resting, repairing and communing with nature.
